Man charged following fatal crash
Perth Sheriff Court
Adam Harazim appeared at Perth Sheriff Court
A man has appeared in court charged with causing the death of a teenage girl in a car crash.

Adam Harazim, 26, is alleged to have been speeding and more than double the legal alcohol limit when he hit a wall.

Samantha Forrest, 16, from Waterloo, was a passenger in the car when it crashed in Perth on Friday night.

Polish worker Mr Harazim made no plea or declaration. He was released on bail on condition he does not leave the UK without permission.

He must also sign in to Perth police station every week.

Fatal injuries

Mr Harazim made a brief appearance in private before Sheriff Mark Stewart at Perth Sheriff Court.

The petition alleges he drove dangerously while his alcohol level was 75 microgrammes - the legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

It is alleged he drove at excessive speed and overtook other vehicles in a built-up area, then lost control at a roundabout.

The petition alleges that Mr Harazim then collided with a wall, damaging it and the car, and injuring the two male passengers, as well as causing fatal injuries to Miss Forrest.

Originally from Aberdeen, Miss Forrest had recently moved to the hamlet of Waterloo, near Bankfoot, while she was attending Perth College.
