Agoraphobic man's body discovered
Duncan Gibb
Mr Gibb had not ventured outside for decades
Police have discovered the body of an agoraphobic man who went missing after leaving his Scottish home for the first time in 30 years.

A huge search was launched after Duncan Gibb failed to return to his home in Montrose, Angus, earlier this month.

His family said it was the first time the 49-year-old had set foot outside his own doorstep since the age of 18.

Tayside Police said there were no suspicious circumstances and a report would be sent to the procurator fiscal.

The spokesman added: "Following an extensive search in the area and acting on information from members of the public, the body of Duncan Gibb was found in Montrose."
