Man freed after falling into silo
A man has been freed from a silo in Forfar after falling in and becoming trapped up to his waist.

The man, who was in his 50s, was working at Lochhead Quarry, in Montrose Road, when he slipped on a platform and fell in.

The incident happened just after 0930 GMT, emergency services said.

A Tayside Police spokesman said the man was wearing a safety harness and was not injured. The Health and Safety Executive has been informed.
