Man killed in A90 crash is named

The road was closed to allow accident investigations
A man who died after a road accident on the A90 at Stracathro, near Brechin, has been named by police.

Dean Grilli, 39, from Dundee was killed after the small Ford van he was driving collided with a Land Rover at 0715 GMT.

The female driver of the Land rover was treated for shock by ambulance crews at the scene.

The incident resulted in the southbound carriageway of the road being closed until 1230 GMT as accident investigators examined the area.

A full report into the collision is being submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Tayside Police have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact them.
