Sir Elton John is to perform in Perth next year, it has been confirmed.
The concert at St Johnstone Football Club's ground, MacDiarmid Park, is the only Scottish date on the "Rocket Man's" summer tour.
Promoters said the open-air gig on 6 July was expected to be a sell-out, with tickets available from Monday.
It will be the first time Sir Elton, who has sold more than 250 million records in a career spanning four decades, has performed in the town.
St Johnstone FC managing director, Stewart Duff, said: "As a club, we are absolutely delighted that an artist of Sir Elton's stature should be the star performer for our first ever concert at McDiarmid Park."
Ben Martin, from promoters Marshall Arts, told the BBC Scotland news website the venue had been chosen for its central location.
He said: "Sir Elton has previously performed in places like Glasgow, Aberdeen, Inverness and Kilmarnock, but he's never played Perth before.
"He always loves performing in the UK and has a huge affinity with the fans here.
"He's taking his show to the people, to places that would never normally see him play."
