Teenage passenger dies in crash

A teenager has died in a car crash in Kinross-shire.

He was a passenger in a car which was involved in an accident just before 2300 BST on Saturday on the B920 Scotlandwell to Ballingry Road.

The driver, who is 20, suffered minor injuries and is being detained in hospital.

Tayside Police said the car which crashed was a green Peugeot 306. They said the victim, whose details have not been released, was in his late teens.
