Man in court on sex attack charge

Central Scotland Police have arrested a 34-year-old man

A man has been arrested over an alleged sex attack on a teenager near Falkirk.

The 34-year-old will appear before a Sheriff in the town to be charged with assault with intent to rape.

Central Scotland Police launched an investigation after a 16-year-old girl claimed she was indecently assaulted in Hallglen on Friday 10 August.

A dedicated team of detectives had been going door to door and a mobile police office had been set up in the area to try and gather evidence.
