A total of 25 creatures were injured at the Camperdown Wildlife Centre in Dundee last month.

A terrapin was killed, a deer was slashed with a craft knife, and keepers said a snowy owl and a bear were left traumatised by the incident.

Tayside Police said investigations were continuing to find out if anyone else was involved.

A said: "Two youths have been charged with regards to the incident at Camperdown Zoo between 2 -3 July whereby animals were injured.
