Officers make city drugs seizure
Drugs squad officers from Tayside Police have recovered 9kg of amphetamine worth about £90,000 from Dundee city centre.

A 53-year-old man was arrested in connection with the seizure and is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday.

Det Insp Iain Wales, head of the force's drugs unit, described the seizure as "significant".

He said officers would continue to tackle the menace of the drugs trade.

"Seizures such as this have a direct impact on those who attempt to make money from the misery of others," he said.
