A man has suffered serious injuries after a car was deliberately driven at him before he was attacked by the occupants.
Central Scotland Police said the incident, which happened in Fallin, near Stirling, was being treated as attempted murder.
The 32-year-old was hit by the car on Friday night following an argument with a woman in the street.
Police said the woman chased him and then the car deliberately drove at him.
The male driver and female passenger then got out of the car and along with the woman who the victim had been arguing with, attacked the man.

After the attack, which happened on Friday evening, all three got into the car and drove away.
Det Insp Ian Motion, of Stirling CID, said: "This was a particularly nasty crime which could have resulted in much more serious consequences.
"We are treating this as attempted murder and we are keen to speak to anybody who may have information."
The woman seen arguing was described as in her 20s, 5ft 7in, of slim build, with blonde straight hair and wore a light coloured top, jeans and white boots.
The driver of the car was described as between 25 and 30, 5ft 10in to 6ft tall, of medium build and was wearing a dark top and jeans while the female passenger was described as 5ft 7in, with dark shoulder-length hair and wore jeans and a dark top.
Police have urged anyone with any information to contact Crimestoppers.
