Kyle Falconer and his band went to number one with their debut
Chart-topping band The View are to play a gig in their home city of Dundee, it has been announced.

The news comes a week after it emerged the group's plans to tour America had been thrown into doubt.

Lead singer Kyle Falconer's conviction for cocaine possession at Dundee Sheriff Court raised the question of whether he would be granted a visa.

The band, whose debut Hats Off To The Buskers topped the album charts, will play Dundee's Caird Hall in April.

The group also recently won an NME award.
