Additional T tickets up for sale
T in the Park
Tickets for the event have already sold out in record time
Several thousand extra tickets for T in the Park festival are to go on sale after bosses won approval to expand the capacity of the music festival.

The initial allocation for the event in July, at Balado in Kinross, sold out in record time.

Some of the additional briefs, going on sale on 9 March, were reclaimed from suspected ticket touts.

Perth and Kinross Council has approved expanding the festival capacity to a record 80,000 music fans a day.

It will be headlined by acts including Snow Patrol, The Killers and Arctic Monkeys.

T in the Park boss Geoff Ellis said: "We are really happy to announce that fans will have a second chance to get their hands on tickets."
