Children get help with back pain
Physiotherapists are to give lessons in back care to primary school children, a health authority has announced.

NHS Forth Valley has targeted them amid concern they are increasingly likely to suffer from the condition.

Many youngsters spend a proportion of their week watching TV or sitting in awkward positions playing video games.

Senior physio Angela Broadfoot said children did not do the same amount of physical activity as their parents did when they were young.

Pupils will be taught simple stretches and exercises and advised on how to sit correctly at their desks and carry their school bags.
