Vandals damage schools in attacks
Police are hunting for vandals who caused hundreds of pounds worth of damage to schools in Falkirk and Alloa.

Windows and roof tiles were smashed and children's toys strewn across the playground of Shieldhill Primary School sometime over the weekend.

A total of six windows were also smashed at Alloa Academy.

Central Scotland Police said officers would be patrolling schools during the summer holidays and sending out a tough message to vandals.

The force has asked anyone with information about the latest incidents to come forward.
