Man, 45, held over drug seizure

A man has been arrested after police seized drugs with an estimated street value of £20,000 in Stirlingshire.

The haul of ecstasy, amphetamine and cannabis was discovered as police made a routine check on a parked car in Balfron on Monday morning.

Following the discovery, a 45-year-old man from the Drumchapel area of Glasgow was being held in custody in connection with the find.

He is expected to appear at Stirling Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
