Two men arrested in central Scotland under the Terrorism Act have been released and police have been given more time to question a third.
Mohammed Rafiq, 40, and Mohammed Niaz, 46, were released without charge after being detained in Alva and Bridge of Allan respectively on Monday.
Police have been granted a further 72 hours to detain Asif Siddique, 25, who was also arrested in Alva on Monday.
The extension means he could be held until Saturday morning.
Asif Siddique's brother, Atif Siddique, 20, was detained in Alva, Clackmannanshire, on 13 April in a dawn raid and is still being held by police.
His detention period is due to expire on Thursday morning.
The men have been held under the Terrorism Act 2000 at the high security Govan police station in Glasgow.
Mr Rafiq, and Mr Niaz, were both released at 0230 BST on Wednesday and are now back home with their families, their solicitor Aamer Anwar said.
'Distressed and upset'
Mr Anwar said Mr Niaz and Mr Rafiq were both completely innocent.
"They were distressed and upset at the manner in which they were treated," he said.
"They cannot understand why they were arrested in the first place.
"When these people are released without charge, they are left to pick up the pieces of their lives."
Mr Rafiq had come from Pakistan to visit family in Alva and was planning to return when he was detained at 0900 BST in the operation on Monday, according to Mr Anwar.
He added: "He said to me he is horrified at the manner of what's happened to him since he has come here on holiday."
Mr Niaz, a businessman from Bridge of Allan in Stirlingshire - seven miles from Alva - was held after police raided and searched his house on the same day.
