Man dies after crash with tractor

The accident took place on the A822

Tayside Police are appealing for information after a motorcyclist died following a collision with a tractor on the A822 in Perthshire.

The man, who has not yet been named, died after his bike collided with a tractor carrying a trailer on the Braco to Crieff road near to Redford Farm.

The motorcyclist was taken to Stirling Royal Infirmary following the accident on Friday at 1330 BST.

He died later of his injuries. The driver of the tractor was unhurt.

The road was closed while accident investigators examined the scene.

Officers from Tayside Police have already spoken to several witnesses but are urging anyone with information to contact them at Perth.
