Farm worker fatal accident inquiry planned

A fatal accident inquiry is to be held into the death of a farm worker in a field in Dumfries and Galloway.

Graeme Riddick, 49, of New Abbey, was found dead on land at Cuil Farm in Castle Douglas on 23 December last year.

Police said at the time that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.

The hearing into the death will take place at Kirkcudbright Sheriff Court next month.
