Schoolgirl heroin charges denied

Selkirk Sheriff Court
Mr Richardson will go on trial at Selkirk Sheriff Court next month

A man has denied charges of supplying heroin to three schoolgirls to the potential danger of their lives.

Darren Richardson, 28, of Thistle Street, Galashiels, is also charged with supplying diazepam to the girls - two aged 13 and one aged 14.

The offences are alleged to have taken place at his Scottish Borders home between March and October last year.

He denied all the charges against him and is due to face trial at Selkirk Sheriff Court next month.

Mr Richardson also pled not guilty to a charge of sending indecent text messages to the 14-year-old girl, repeatedly touching her on the thighs and committing a breach of the peace.
