Economic strategy plans launched

A plan to help boost the economy of Dumfries and Galloway is being launched in Stranraer.

The document has been developed by the local economic forum following a series of consultation meetings in the area.

The action plan involves the private, public and voluntary sectors and already has a number of projects in the pipeline.

The report is being launched at the offices of Irish Sea ferry operator Stena Line.
