Porn 'hobby' man handed jail term

A man who told police his hobbies included viewing pornography has been jailed for six months.

Iain Blake, 31, of Main Street, West Linton, admitted downloading indecent images of children between November 2004 and February last year.

In addition to his jail term he will remain under supervision for 12 months after his release.

At a Selkirk Sheriff Court hearing, Blake was also placed on the sex offenders' register for 10 years.
