Queens sell out cup ticket share

Queen of the South fans have taken all their ticket allocation

Queen of the South have sold their entire ticket allocation for the Scottish Cup Final against Rangers.

The sale got under way to season ticket holders and shareholders at the Dumfries club on Saturday.

All 15,500 tickets given to the Doonhamers for the clash at Hampden Park on 24 May have now been sold.

It is the first time in the 89-year history of the Palmerston Park club that it has reached this stage of the competition.

Queen of the South made it to the final thanks to a dramatic 4-3 victory over Aberdeen at Hampden.

More than 10,000 of their supporters attended that game.
