Two injured in serious road crash

Two people have been hurt in a serious road accident on a stretch of the A75 in Dumfries and Galloway.

The incident took place about half a mile west of the Glenluce bypass at about 0930 BST.

A police spokesman said a man and a woman had been hurt in the crash but their injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.

The road was closed for a time after the incident but one lane has since been reopened.
