KT Tunstall to play at Wickerman

KT Tunstall has joined the line-up for the Wickerman Festival

Singer-songwriter KT Tunstall has been confirmed as part of the Wickerman Festival line-up for this year.

The St Andrews musician and Manchester act The Fall have been announced as main stage acts for the event near Kirkcudbright on 25 and 26 July.

Electronic music pioneer Gary Numan was unveiled as the festival's headliner earlier this year.

Organiser Jamie Gilroy said the latest acts added "more variety to an already diverse line-up".

The Wickerman Festival won the Best Grass Roots Festival award in 2007.

It is now in its seventh year and promises a wide range of acts over its two days.

As well as KT Tunstall, The Fall and Gary Numan, other artists confirmed include Dodgy, Hugh Cornwell and the Red Hot Chilli Pipers.
