Biker seriously hurt in A72 crash
Police have appealed for witnesses after a motorcyclist was seriously hurt in an accident on the A72 in the Scottish Borders.

The 45-year-old was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary with multiple fractures on Saturday, shortly before 1200 GMT.

The accident happened at the Castle Craig Corners - west of Peebles.

No other vehicles were believed to have been involved in the incident. Anyone with information has been asked to contact police.
