1m harbour scheme moves forward
A 1m contract towards the creation of a 50-berth boat station in Stranraer is set to be agreed.

The installation of pontoons at the town's harbour is part of its waterfront regeneration project.

Project works includes dredging the area, removal of old berthing piles and the installation a gangway and a series of security measures.

Six contractors submitted bids and councillors have been recommended to accept the lowest offer.
