Police consider YouTube charges
A man has been questioned by police after footage appeared on a video sharing website of a car on a "turbo blast" on a rural road near Dumfries.

The film appeared on YouTube last month prompting a police investigation.

A 20-year-old from the Dumfries area has been interviewed in connection with the video.

A police spokesman confirmed they were considering submitting a report to the procurator fiscal for either careless or dangerous driving.

"I hope that this shows that Dumfries and Galloway Constabulary take such matters seriously," said Acting Insp David Blacklock.
