Landslide causes road disruption
A serious landslide has closed the B7068 road between Lockerbie and Langholm in Dumfriesshire.

Diversions were put in place at the site, near Scroggs Bridge, on Monday afternoon and are expected to remain for some time.

A spokesman for Dumfries and Galloway Council said urgent investigations were being carried out into the incident.

Experts have been called in to assess the extent of the work necessary to clear and repair the road.
