Hospital road improvement plans
Safety improvements have been announced at the junction to the Borders General Hospital on the A6091 Melrose bypass.

Transport Minister Tavish Scott revealed the plans in answer to a parliamentary question about road safety measures.

Vehicle-activated signs will be placed at the junction which has seen a number of accidents in recent years.

Lib Dem MSP Jeremy Purvis met with the minister at the site earlier this year as part of a campaign for an upgrade.
