Albanian faces deportation order
An Albanian who tried to enter the country illegally has been jailed for two months and ordered to be deported.

Dritan Musaraj, 22, of Bleth Road, Coventry, had a forged Italian passport when he was checked by police at the Stena Line ferry port at Stranraer.

Musaraj admitted attempting to pervert the course of justice by trying to enter the United Kingdom illegally.

He also pleaded guilty at Stranraer Sheriff Court to possessing a forged Italian passport.

Sheriff James Smith sentenced Musaraj to two months in prison backdated to 6 September.
