A festival-goer has been killed in a one-vehicle accident on a woodland track in Dumfriesshire.

Michael Walls, 41, of Dumfries, was a passenger in a car which crashed in Ae Forest at about 1900 BST on Sunday.

He had been attending the first ever Tryst O Gal music festival being staged in the forest.
