High school gets sporting boost

New sports facilities have been opened at Kelso High

Kelso High School has been delivered a great chance to develop the sporting stars of the future.

A new £285,000 multi-use games area was officially opened in the school grounds on Wednesday.

It will not only offer improved facilities for the school but be available to the wider community.

The development was welcomed by local councillor Alasdair Hutton, who is a leading figure in the SportKelso group fighting for better sporting amenities.
