New school scheme makes progress
A new Peebles primary is a step closer after councillors approved plans to build at Neidpath Grazings.

They gave the plans for the new Kingsland Primary school their support with a number of conditions.

The scheme will require planning permission, Scottish Executive approval and address road safety issues before it can progress further.

If it goes ahead the old Kingsland site would be refurbished for pupils from Halyrude Primary in the town.
