Burns museum plans go ahead

The National Trust for Scotland is to press ahead with plans to build a new £21m Burns museum in Alloway, despite fears that it will drain its existing resources. The organisation had considered closing 11 properties earlier this year, but reconsidered in the face of public pressure.
