Two in court over huge drug haul

Two men have been charged after cannabis plants and bags of the drug with a street value of £250,000 were found at a house in Midlothian.

About 100 mature cannabis plants and about 200 advanced cuttings and several bags of cannabis were found at a property in Dundas Gardens, Gorebridge.

Two Vietnamese men, aged 29 and 30, were arrested and charged with drugs offences.

Both were due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday.
