Murder inquiry after man stabbed

A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a 28-year-old man from stabbing injuries.

Paul Boland, from Miller Street, Clydebank, was found seriously injured in the town's Milldam Road at about 2125 GMT on Saturday.

He died at the scene a short time later.

Det Ch Insp Ricky Mason said he wanted to speak to anyone who had been in the nearby Doublet Bar before the time Mr Boland was found.

He said: "It is vital that anyone with information, no matter how trivial it may seem, contact Clydebank Police Office on telephone number 0141 532 3336."
