'Incorrigible' child abuser jailed

An "incorrigible" child abuser whose crimes span more than 30 years has been jailed for a minimum of 20 months.

However, Neil Divers, 59, will also be under supervision for the rest of his life.

Divers admitted an offence involving a teenager in Peterhead. He was sentenced at the High Court in Edinburgh.

Judge Lord Philip said: "Your record indicates to me that you are incorrigible. In other words, nothing seems to be able to stop you."
