Cyclist injured in bus accident

A female cyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following an accident with a bus in Aberdeen city centre.

The cyclist, who is understood to be in her 20s, was involved in the accident on Market Street at about noon.

Grampian Police and the Scottish Ambulance Service were called to the scene and she was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.

The accident has been causing traffic delays in a busy area.
