Inquiry after city body discovery

Police are investigating after the discovery of a man's body in Aberdeen.

The man, thought to be aged in his 30s, was found in Richmond Street in the Rosemount area of the city at about 1030 GMT.

Grampian Police said the death was being treated as unexplained, but that early indications were that it did not appear suspicious.

A spokesperson said a report on the man's death would be sent to the procurator fiscal.
