Sandy Henderson was described as a loving man
The funeral of an 81-year-old farmer who died after his tractor was submerged in floods in Aberdeenshire was attended by hundreds of people.
The body of Sandy Henderson was found in the tractor after it was recovered at Kintore last Friday, the day after he disappeared sparking a major search.
The funeral of the "loving" grandfather was held at Kintore Parish Church on Friday afternoon.
Relatives asked for donations to the Fire Brigade Benevolent Fund.
It is thought Mr Henderson may have been trying to rescue cattle near the River Don when he was swept away.
A search involving an RAF helicopter, police divers and coastguards was launched.
Relatives later paid tribute, with daughter Shonagh Thom saying: "Sandy was a loving father and grandfather and great friend to many.
"Sandy was a fun-loving man who had an enormous appetite for life and his tragic loss will leave a huge hole in all our lives.
"His beloved grandchildren are absolutely heartbroken at the loss of their cherished grandfather."
