Odds favour casino's 24-hour bid

A second Aberdeen casino has been granted permission to open around the clock.

The G Casino in Exchequer Row will now open 24 hours a day after being given the extension from 0600 BST to noon.

In March, the Gala Casino on the city's Summer Street was given permission by Aberdeen City Council to operate all day.

That decision was narrowly approved by the council's licensing board, by three votes to two.
