Biker killed in road crash named

A motorcyclist killed in a crash in Moray has been named.

Martin Murie, 34, from Inverness, died after the accident on the A941 Lossiemouth to Elgin road at about 1500 BST on Tuesday.

The collision involved a Suzuki and a black Ford Galaxy, and Grampian Police re-newed an appeal for witnesses.

A female Galaxy passenger was taken to Dr Gray's Hospital in Elgin. Her injuries were not thought to be serious.

A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
