English car snared drug teenager

A teenager was caught with drugs after police began tailing a car partly because of its English registration.

Liam Adams, 17, was caught after trying to dump crack cocaine and heroin with a street value of £47,000 in the Middlefield area of Aberdeen last year.

Adams, from Nottingham, admitted being concerned in drug supply at the High Court in Edinburgh.

Defence counsel Tim Niven-Smith said it was accepted that a custodial sentence was "inevitable" in the case.

Sentence was deferred for reports.
