Teen 'over limit in stolen car'

A teenager was caught behind the wheel of a stolen car while double the drink-drive limit in Moray, police have said.

The 18-year-old man was stopped in Elgin on Thursday as part of a safety campaign.

Grampian Police said he did not have a full driving licence or insurance as well as being over the limit and in a stolen vehicle.

Road safety manager Leslie Harrold said: "He will now face a series of charges when he appears in court."
