The new report warns the financial position remains challenging

The Accounts Commission is to meet to discuss Aberdeen City Council's progress as it tries to sort out its management and finances.

A Controller of Audit's progress report praises the council for beginning to turn around its finances, following a critical inquiry last year.

It called for a string of major changes including a new chief executive and new organisational structures.

However, the new report warns the financial position remains challenging.
