Motorcyclist dies after A93 crash

Grampian Police have named a 21-year-old motorcyclist killed in a crash on the A93 near Dinnet on Friday.

William Andrew Barron, known as Andy, from Baillieswells in Aberdeen, died in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after a collision involving his Kawasaki bike.

No other vehicle was involved in the incident which happened at about 2140 BST on Thursday 2 July.

Grampian Police have appealed for witnesses who may have seen the orange motorcycle in Ballater or on the A93.
