Report after police car accident

A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal in connection with a road crash in Aberdeenshire involving a police car.

The investigation centred around the then head of roads policing for Grampian, Tom Forrester.

The crash happened in November last year on the B977 Belhelvie to Dyce road.

A Crown Office spokesperson told BBC Scotland that the report was under consideration.
