Shop appeals licence suspension

Police at Costcutter
The Costcutter licence decision is to be appealed

An Aberdeen shop stripped of its licence to sell alcohol after an employee was caught selling drugs from the store is to appeal the decision.

The 48-year-old female at Costcutter in Great Northern Road was earlier jailed.

Grampian Police said it had also been investigating claims of alcohol being sold to under-age children.

Aberdeen City Council confirmed it had received notification from the storekeeper of an intention to appeal the ruling.
