Police probe 'air rifle shooting'

A suspected air rifle attack on a man in Aberdeen is being investigated by police.

The 49-year-old man was struck in the leg by what was thought to be an air rifle pellet at Auchmill Golf Course in Bucksburn.

The incident happened at about 1830 BST on Thursday.

A Grampian Police spokesperson, appealing for anyone with information to get in touch, said the victim escaped serious injury.
