Beechgrove Garden television presenter Carole Baxter has helped sow seeds for a "green roof" of a major development in Aberdeen.

The £250m Union Square development next to Aberdeen Railway Station will include shops and a hotel.

The green roof section is being planted with a mix of coastal grasses and wildflowers.

The presenter said: "I'm delighted to be supporting the planting of a local gardening project with a bit of twist."
